A standard feature from the microblogging side all other software already support. In fact, all follows in ActivityPub are follow requests by default (normal follows are simulated by just auto-accepting all follows serverside). That's why when servers are overloaded you end up with the "subscription pending" message, as the Accept/Follow activity never reaches your server. permalink fedilink source parent
