How not to build a bike lane

Stop sign. Go one block. Stop sign. Go one block. Stop sign. Bike lane closed. But good news, there's a sharrow marked in the car lane!

The worst is approaching Dunn Street from the east. You have to avoid eastbound traffic, westbound traffic, and southbound traffic as you try to get out of the bike lane and into the sharroad. Just a total cluster.

@benfulton @bloomington_in it would honestly be better to not have a bike lane than to have one like this. My neighborhood only has 2 roads with them but at least they are not death traps like this one.

Agreed, I don't as much anymore but used to bike a lot through town. I probably would have taken painted on unprotected bike lanes over this, this takes up so much space and makes the car lanes way too tight for what goes through them
