The one I'm on, for example, makes a point of providing a safe space for gender diverse people to hang out, so the admins will defederate with any instance that does not police itself sufficiently to avoid bigotry. I imagine that means I end up seeing very little of the hate that goes in the broader fediverse. No big loss, I'm sure.
