Are convenient floods a big issue in that area? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] catloaf@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago (2 children) This was in Florida so actually yes. Also, the boxes are still there. After the case was dismissed when he got reelected, they returned everything. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 1 point 1 year ago (1 child) Ahhhh... I see Trump and just assume it's lies, but fair enough if floods happen there. And that's depressing. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 year ago (1 child) Yes, but this wasn’t a natural flood: it was caused by the in-ground pool next to this basement room, apparently because of an ‘error’ made by a maintenance person the same day they learnt about the warrant. It affected this room (you can see some moisture on the floor and staining on the nearest box) plus, crucially, the server room adjacent, in a clear attempt to destroy their digital storage. It was called out in the court documents. This wasn’t a natural flood, and was suspiciously convenient. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] CheeseToastie@lazysoci.al 2 points 1 year ago What an incredible coincidence that there was a suspiciously convenient flood at that time in that room 🙄 permalink fedilink source parent [+] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 1 point 1 year ago [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent
