Chuck Schumer and the DNC has done nothing, nothing, to stop the spread of authoritarianism in america..8 years. It's been 8+ years and the roots of autocracy and oligarchy have only spread further and further into our government. Do I think Chuck Schumer, with his mountains of data, has made the right choices to fortify our democracy and innoculate our population from the poison the GOP has injected into this country. Emphatically, no. I don't know how many more times the DNC will capitulate and do nothing before you see their strategy is ineffective and they are not equipped to address what is happening right now.

If Schumer never faltered and allowed the shutdown to happen I might have questioned if it was the right move. The fact that he did, as everyone knew he would, is enough proof to me that he is making the wrong choice.

To me, when dealing with trump, it's a sin to be predictable enough that even someone of my intellect can guess your next move.
