Hate that people just gift their data to these companies or in TikTok's case to China. Part of the reason that brought me to Lemmy.

    To be fair, I don't care as much about data in general. Mostly cuz I think anything that they can get, they will get, anyway, given I'm using an American phone on public (ish) American Wi-Fi. Just don't want that specific country having that much access to me.
