I know hiragana and some katakana and a few kanji characters, and I know simple sentence structure and grammar. I've mostly been just using Duolingo and Renshuu for learning and have struggled to find time to finally open the Genki textbook I bought over a year ago permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] taiyang@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago It's common for a Japanese person to say it's good anyway.
