Quality games for the kids with no ads or micro transactions. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] SendMePhotos@lemmy.world 13 points 2 years ago (4 children) Is that a subscription permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 8 child comments replies: [–] meldrik@lemmy.wtf 9 points 2 years ago It comes with Apple One. Not sure if it’s a standalone subscription though. permalink fedilink source parent [–] sjmarf@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 years ago Yes. It’s $6.99/mo for access to a load of games with no ads or IAPs. Half of the games on there are only available on Apple Arcade, the others are editions of regular App Store games but with no ads and all the IAPs already unlocked. It kinda sucks that Apple gatekeeps certain games behind the subscription though… I wanted to play Mini Motorways on mobile, but it’s only available through Apple Arcade. For comparison Mini Metro is a OTP of $5 iirc. permalink fedilink source parent [–] vxx@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago Apple Arcade is $6.99 a month. permalink fedilink source parent [–] sigmaklimgrindset@sopuli.xyz 4 points 2 years ago It's Apple, ofc it is 🥲 permalink fedilink source parent [–] napkin2020@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 years ago I am very sure that it's more than 95% permalink fedilink source parent [–] Tilgare@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago* Fortunately, very little value would be lost. permalink fedilink source parent [–] pyre@lemmy.world 1 point 2 years ago dawncaster is enough tbh permalink fedilink source parent
