    Who said I wasn't also doing that? It's not mutually exclusive, just a quick way to get a read on people's sentiment towards them and to try to figure out why people shut down discussion about them so consistently

    If the people shutting down discussions like that are tankies then they're a damn sight more subtle about it than literally having "Stalinism" in their username

    So you don't understand the actual point of throwing out people who misbehave? You don't see the crowd vote to throw out a hooligan, people are perfectly happy with bouncers throwing out assholes.Why do you think people want to see those assholes online? Why do you think people want to have to dig through 300 bad comments to find 10 good ones? Why do you think people want to individually block every single annoying account showing up in their replies?
