The ONLY one that works is Raspberry pi os Legacy available from the rpi flasher. What other OS would work?

Situation

Its not cabling thats the issue. The TV shows visual but the graphics is very hazy and blurry. I suppose it has something to do with either the frame rate made for digital monitors being too high for the TV or the video resolution being too unbarable.

I have used CRT computer monitors but they used VGA. In those monitors, I used to set resolution to 800x600px and it would show the clearest. CRT monitors dont have this concept of pixels, yet setting pixels to 800x600 does the job in VGA CRT monitors. It did not work in case of my TV.

I should mention that the device I purchased to convert HDMI to Audio Video has a toggleable switch that can be changed to NTSC or PAL. I dont know what that is, both works but setting to PAL seems to be slightly clearer.

I am asking here in hopes someone else has done it and how they made it barable.

[Also I am sorry I do not understand the language that is mostly used here. This community seems to be the most active one so I decided to ask for help here]

Zuletzt war der Raspberry Pi nicht nur extrem teuer, sondern zugleich kaum lieferbar. Das hat sich inzwischen wieder geändert.

Ich hab das Projekt schon ein Jahr verfolgt und Clemens Elflein hat es tatsächlich geschafft das Thema professionell auf die Beine zu stellen. Seit kurzem ist sein Bausatz erhältlich, mit dem man einen billigen Yardforce Mähroboter auf GPS Unterstützung aufrüsten kann. Die Verlegung von Begrenzungskabel ist somit nicht notwendig.

This is my first time setting up a Raspberry Pi4 (8GB). Before, I have used a RPi 3B for some other things. From what i have read is, that IO performance should be a lot better on the RPi4, as with the RPi3B. But i get the same speeds as before. I have setup the following:

• Installed Raspbian Lite (64bit)
• enabled SFTP/SSH
• Setup a user for SFTP only access, with home on a connected USB HDD
• the USB HDD is connected to one of the USB3 ports
• This is the same setup on the RPi3B

When I now try to start to copy a 2GB file from my Laptop via LAN, i get in both cases a max of 11.6 or 11,5MB/s. But according to articles like this (https://www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2021/raspberry-pi-25-gbps-16-tb-omv-nas-setup-and-performance), it should be much faster. Is there some secret, or whats the problem?

BTW: The Laptop runs on Manjaro Linux, where i start the transfer, there is no Windows available.

I've got OpenVPN running, and the NoIP DUC running, if I setup OpenVPN to use my current IP everything works well, can connect, and more importantly can access the Internet. If I configure it to use my DynDNS through NoIP then it allows my to connect, but I then have no access outside my local network. If I was just trying to access a server that would be fine, but obviously this is supposed to be a VPN.....

Heya, does anyone have experiences with using a pi4 as a Jellyfin media server? I'd like to set it up like that. Do you think a regular external HDD would work as storage space? Will it be possible to have like 3 to 4 devices streaming at the same time?Recommendations for tutorials are highly appreciated!

Ich liste mal die einzelnen Installationsschritte auf. Details zu den jeweiligen Komponenten führe ich jedoch nicht auf; Kenntnisse setze ich mal voraus bzw. sind den entsprechenden Dokumentationen zu entnehmen.

1. Installation raspberry (Basis Betriebssystem "Raspberry PI OS")
2. Installation ioBroker 2.1 Installation der benötigten Adapter in ioBroker
   • "Node-Red"
   • "HomeMatic ReGaHSS" bzw. "HomeMatic RPC"
   • "Steuerung des Staubsaugers Xiaomi/Roborock"
   • "Visualisierung"

Die Liste der Instanzen sieht dann in ioBroker wie folgt aus:

Über das Visualisierungsmodul von Node-Red kann man sich auf dieser Basis dann eine Webseite zur Steuerung erstellen. Die Erkennung der Geräte in Alexa erfolgt über die Wemo-Nodes.

Für einen zum Pi 4 vergleichbaren Preis bietet der Quartz64 Model B HDMI und M.2. Das Gerät wird von einem verbreiteten SoC angetrieben.
