Does anybody have any information about the indx upgrade kits that were ordered in the first batch?

Hit an issue last weekend trying to do a multicolor print with my Prusa Core One. Spent some time with Claude.ai on the issue I managed to make an application to help with multicolor single extruder prints. https://gitlab.com/cschalle/prusa/_color/_mate #linux @josefprusa @prusa

For those of you with prusas, is spending like over $1100 for this printer and enclosure worth it? It just sounds astonishing to me. I don't know if I can really justify it. I kinda wanna wait a year or two and see if Prusa will release an actual Bambu competitor. Thoughts. Opinions?

Hey !prusa, maybe you can help me. I have a self-assembled Mk3s+ that I put together about a year ago, but never really used because of the following problem.

If I print on draft quality, it makes it through most prints. I've printed a dozen cubes, several brackets, and some other odds and ends.

If I try to print on higher detail settings, however, it behaves very strangely. Most often it'll just hang, and keep oozing out more plastic. Once in a while, the steppers will keep turning and ram the bed or print head against the ends of their tracks.

I've tried updating and downgrading the firmware, different SD cards, etc. to no avail. Support hasn't been much help either.

Any ideas?

As you can see in the video I insert a filament and keep pressing „purge more“ but nothing comes out until I push the filament from the top with my fingers (and afterwards purging works as intended without additional intervention). The filament in the video is Fiberlogy Fiberflex 40D. I never had such issues with this filament on my MK3S+. Does anyone have similar experience? I already tightened the idler screws by 4 turns, but it looks like the plastic part of idler just rests against the metal Nextruder frame. Maybe I should redesign the idler, so the small pulleys can reside closer to the filament feeding gear…

I recently had a conversation with a colleague about #opensourcehardware and exploitation. I mentioned the recent @prusa post.

Today I learned of how Miniware has similarly exploited work by the community around the @PINE64 #pinecil in the development of their TS101. It seems Miniware is refusing to release schematics or code: https://github.com/Ralim/IronOS/discussions/1664#discussioncomment-5680597

I haven't investigated this further. Are things as they seem?

Why don't we treat these companies and products like the bad actors they are?

In case you use cotton pads for wiping the build plate with IPA and you own an Original Prusa Enclosure you may find this model handy

Hi there, I've been having a little trouble printing models with my MINI+, when there is very low extrusion between retractions. The Extruder grinds the filament through, and then the filament in the hotend burns until it gets stuck as well.

It usually only happens when I print extremely fine things like DnD (2") miniatures at .05mm layer height.
For now I've switched to .15mm layer height and have not had the issues since, but I wonder if there's something that could be done, except changing the Extruder/Hotend?
