So I had an idea for a new method of security. A bulletproof alien costume pajama set. Here's how it works. You put on this full body pajama that's also bulletproof, and also made to look like an alien costume. And it pairs with an alien sleeping mask.

So now, when someone breaks into your house, the lights come on, they see this alien looking thing. It confuses them. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???"

Either they run in fear, or the confusion gives you the advantage for a second or too. Enough time to fire a gun, or swing a bat. The point is, he'll be confused as hell for a second or two, while you won't be. You'll just be starting your attack from the getgo.

And in the event that he reaches for a gun, the alien suit is bulletproof. Just don't get shot in the head. I can't picture a bulletproof sleeping mask.

No matter what you say to it, even if you're factually right, it will find some way to correct you

I think Orbulon would be a great main character for that. Since he's trying to understand human culture, it'd be cool to watch him trying to understand the concept of humans cheering because...

A man hit a ball into a net.

Ok, so I can tell this idea is crazy, but I can't tell if it's good.

The basic idea is, imagine a giant woodstock style weekend. With the massive property and hundreds of thousands of people.

Instead of tents, imagine if there were plastic houses. With kind of like a lego connection to assemble it. So you just click it into place, and maybe tighten something to make it secure, but essentially you assemble this little temporary housing, and then live in it for a few days. Then disassemble it, put it in your car, and away you go.

I was thinking you could also use it in a pinch if you have a sudden burst of refugees all in one place at the same time. It's not optimal, but sometimes wars happen, and you have a massive shift in population faster than housing can catch up with. This would temporarily alleviate that problem to some extent.

Maybe joining Ness after defeating him?

I'm not actually recommending this, it would probably backfire more often than not, but I bet someone has done it

Just think, if you've met a lot of people at various schools, workplaces, clubs, etc..., there are probably people in your past you don't remember. Just go up to someone and start talking to them like you know them, they'll probably pretend to know who you are to avoid embarrassment and then you can reminisce about fake memories of when you were in school together. It wouldn't work on everybody, but there are some people who are very suggestible and easily convinced they remember things that didn't happen

Ok, so it's a dance club. Except there's no music. And to get in you need to wear tap dancing shoes. And the dance floor instead of being dark, is EXTREMELY bright. Like painfully blindingly bright. So all you see is bright light and silhouettes, and all you hear is just constant taptaptaptap of feet shuffling and dancing on the dance floor. Mixed with groans of pain.

Like, imagine just total exhaustion to the point of being uncomfortable. All while drinking alcohol in mostly silence. Talking is discouraged, like a library.

I hate this idea, but that means I think it would be extremely popular with normies. Because I'm a weirdo.

Different from a standard news broadcast as it is focused on maintaining the True Crime podcast tone and it is not bound to equal-time or other FCC rules specific to news. Could also sway the opinions of the public who otherwise wouldn’t care.

Hi all

So after getting some positive response (before reddit nuked it, screw them), I want to post my AU idea...somewhere for some hopeful feedback.

So here it is:

FNAF: All Together AU

  • Based on (or rather similar to) the FNAF Movie-verse (with some elements from the games) crossing over with the Together Again duology (A FNAF fangame)

  • Also including some elements from other FNAF fangames/mascot horror games

  • Some characters might have different personality/backstory than from the respective sources.

  • Already have a commissioned pilot for the AU: Whispers of Sunshine

Story Plot Facts so far:

  • AU takes place after the end of the 2nd movie (but Vanessa doesn't get possessed at the end and someone else 'finds' Springtrap)

  • Also pilot story takes place with Mike and Abby moving to Wisconsin, where he serves as the 2nd nightguard alongside Reagan Schmidt (no relations, and yes the same last names will be confusion between characters) Mike would later on take over for Reagan fully, not comfortable for letting a teenager work in a place that is haunted, no matter how much Reagan doesn't believe in 'haunted animatronics'.

  • There will be a redemption arc (or at least a start of one) for Charlie/Marionette, leading to a tense reunion with Vanessa...

  • Speaking of which, Vanessa's backstory will be different. She would grow up to be a Fazbear-licensed nightguard rather than a cop and be more complacent (if not very reluctantly) with William's deeds, bringing a lot more guilt to herself. In fact, after the Movie 2 events, she started traveling around the country, taking up temp night shifts at different establishments (Her deranged way of punishing herself)

  • The 5th child will be Cassidy (as in female Cassidy). Not that the boy from the movie was bad, just that I have a different idea for a backstory for Cassidy this time.

  • Speaking of the MCI, they (except Cassidy and Charlie) will not move on like what happened in the movie (dumb way to make them pass on BTW). Though they would be out of the animatronics, they would still be wandering. Same with the slayed kids from Lake's Funland game. Will have plans for both groups.

  • Rachel Waters, similar to Vanessa, will also have suicidal compulsions due to what she did, but she slowly starts healing after she hires Reagan, unaware she was hiring her granddaughter. BTW her alias (Helen Zawarski) is still intact in this AU

  • BTW Ashley Waters (Rachel Waters' daughter) still spends time outside her independent journalism to find her mother, years after the events of Lake Funland.

  • Other 'Handshakers' and Cherubs will show up in the AU (with one of them being very antagonistic)

  • Max and Harlan Magwood will also have a role somewhere

That's all the story ideas/plans I have so far. Hope to get some feedback while I get the next fanfic ready.

”We are the dead,” he said.

”We're not dead yet,” said Julia prosaically. “Now let’s go shopping at Walmart - massive discounts all over the store for a limited time only”

Maybe a Star Wars actor will win

Ok, so you open up a new service. People drop their dogs off to be walked for them.

Then, that service advertises that you can volunteer to walk a dog.

So now you got people paying you to walk a dog. They show up, and a blind person accepts the dog to be walked. And you in turn get someone else to walk the dog for free, with the promise that you get to hang out with a dog for a few hours.

And then, at night, the blind people who work the front desk get into a boxing ring, and you run a gambling service on which blind boxer will win.

So now when the people come to pick up their dogs, you have the blind guy ask if they want to buy a ticket to see them in a boxing match. And because they're blind, most people would feel bad, and buy the $20 admission. Even if they don't attend.

Now, my only concern at this point is figuring out how not to pay the blind boxers. If I can do that, you'd have a business with no labor overhead, and 100% profit.

New posts should be in a general, catch-all section. OP could suggest a community/tag but it wouldn’t appear there right away. Other users can tag the post for a particular community or label it SPAM/Troll/Abuse.

If enough users tag a post for a community, it shows up in that community feed.

New users can’t tag until they reach a threshold of comments/posts that are positively received—not SPAM, has upvotes, replies.

This will enforce a level of moderation even when the community mods have ghosted.

There would be no cross-posting per se. Posts could be tagged for multiple communities but must reach a certain amount of tags for each community before it appears there.

You just roll the dice, move around the board, and draw cards that tell you to move around the board some more

Let’s face it basketball has peaked. But on skateboards it could be way better. The rules are you must dribble each time your foot touches down, otherwise you can shoot or pass while rolling. If you lose your board you sit on the bench for 1 minute like a penalty box. Okay this idea kinda stinks but I’d really love to play.

You could run a local instance for a school or whatever and initially let the kids only talk to each other then slowly let them out to access a list of safe instances as they get older and learn more about internet safety. Might teach a healthier relationship with the internet.
