Title. I made a space to try and encapsulate all the known Linux Mobile Projects. Ideally this could've been a list or directory of sorts, but since I didn't find one, I kinda just decided to make one. - it's inspired by postmarketOS' space.

You can find it at #mobile-linux-rooms:nope.chat -- Could've had a better name but frankly couldn't think of a better name at the time.

Includes

  • PostmarketOS
  • NixOS (whole)
  • Mobian (Unofficial Space made for this)
  • Droidian
  • UBPorts
  • Fedora PocketBlue
  • OpenSUSE Mobile
  • SailfishOS (Unofficial Space made for this)
  • Pine64 (whole)
  • KDE (whole)
  • Phosh
  • Gnome Mobile (room only)

Running KDE Mobile on surface pro 4 and Maliit takes up HALF of the huge screen. Can I make it

  1. Much smaller
  2. Populate in the bottom right corner?
  3. Or would be very helpful.

I'm back with a second Linux Mobile game. This one is based on flappy bird and plays well as a short time killer. It's free as in free beer and freedom. Additionally runs on 64-bit systems (not tested on Windows, but could run on it). The code can be found on Gitlab. If you have any issues or suggestions, feel free to open an issue on gitlab and I will look over it.

I wanted to try a new physics engine as well because this would be a simple project for it however the one I chose apparently does not actually support arm64 Linux, so it will default to the Godot physics engine instead.

It's not terribly ambitious but I do have aspirations to make something unique, but need to acquire some assets and more experience with the mobile platform.

If you like what I do and want to support it, please consider following me on Itch, donating, or supporting via Kofi.

In hopes of helping out mobile Linux, I decided to bolster its supply of mobile games. I don't know if mobile Linux needs mobile games, but I make games as a hobby and want to try to help out however I can. The game is inspired by food slicing mobile games.

The game itself is free as in free beer and the code is open source. The game has been tested on my Librem 5. If you like what I do, consider donating.

Google has updated Android's Terminal app to let you run full graphical Linux programs.

Linux mobile is advancing fast but of course not everything works out of the box. Element for example needs to make these sidebars toggleable for small screens. touch control works, room changing works, just the sidebars need to "move it". Anyone up for the task?
