It's already built-in as F10 or Edit → Sort! It'd really be handy to have this. I don't know how to add new plugins to the settings' "Plugins" section. It seems strange that there's no link in there to some plugin hub or something.

Personally I haven't. While Linux is imperfect, choosing the right distro makes the rest of the experience straightforward. And with it's whole complexity, I find Linux more user friendly than Windows. Even driver issues, broken shadow file ownership and KDE specifics only made me more confident about my choice to use Linux after I solved everything.

StatCounter’s June 2026 report shows Linux at one of its strongest recent positions, while Windows falls to 56.55%.

The new project, called Hannah Montana Linux v26.0, brings back the internet-famous distro as a Debian-based live system with a heavily themed KDE Plasma desktop. Importantly, rather than being built from scratch, it is a nostalgic remaster that simply updates the original joke for today’s Linux desktop.

I'm going on garden leave soon (due to being affected by a big tech layoff). I thought of maybe doing a Linux certification of some sort while I've got the free time. Are there any that are actually worthwhile?

I've daily droven Linux for ~3 years and learned a lot, but I'd like to formalize it and hopefully have that help with my job hunt.

I don't want the system to shutdown in the middle of the upgrade, but I've already started the upgrade in the GUI.

Is there a better way, maybe involving the apt lock?
