Hey experts, hoping someone here has insight or experience to share.

We have a dog who’s generally well-trained and listens to commands. With me, he’s calm, respectful, and almost never crosses boundaries. The dog is about 10 months old, so we don't expect every command to be perfect, of course.

But with other family members, it’s a different story. He can get rough, jumps on them, snaps at their hands (even when they’re disengaging), and seems to treat them more like playmates than people to respect. Am afraid someone will eventually get hurt.

This behavior often kicks in when a family member picks up his ball or engages with him in a way he perceives as play. Sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. The dog clearly doesn't mean bad and isn't aggressive, but he underestimates his strength. We’ve tried consistent training across the board, and everyone uses the same commands and techniques. Walks help a bit, he’s more controlled outside/on a leash, but the issue persists indoors or in the yard.

Has anyone dealt with a dog who respects one person but gets too rough with others? Is this a leadership/boundary issue, or something else? Any advice on how to help our dog treat all family members with the same respect he shows me?

Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for a charades-style game for Android that works offline and respects my privacy (i.e. no ads, no trackers, and no analytics).

With "Charades" I mean a "Heads Up!" clone or something like this.

I've checked F-Droid and GitHub but haven’t found anything that ticks all the boxes. Most of the ones I’ve seen either include some tracker or haven’t been updated in a while.

Genuinely asking for a friend. 🙂

Does anyone know of a project like this?

I'm looking for Android games that are designed to be played vertically (portrait mode). Could be casual, action, puzzle, roguelike, or anything really. Best if it can be played one-handed.

Paid or not doesn't matter.

Feel free to exclude the pay-to-win crowd. Still, name 'em if you feel you have an excellent exception.

So, I did a thing - accidentally selected my 5TB external NTFS hard drive (encrypted with VeraCrypt) as the target for writing an ISO. The moment I noticed that "Impression" had switched the drive letter, I immediately killed the process. But yeah… damage done.

Now, the situation:

• Currently shows up as:
  • 6 MB FAT
  • 4.3 GB
  • 2 TB unallocated
  • 2.6TB unallocated
• The VeraCrypt volume obviously no longer mounts.
• Drive was somewhat crucial - lots of structured data I’d really prefer to recover with the original file system intact.

I know chances are slim, especially with encrypted volumes, but has anyone had luck recovering from something like this? I’m open to commercial recovery tools or command-line wizardry. Would love to hear from anyone who’s been down this road.

Any thoughts or recommendations?
