Huh, cool that The Finals work, seems like developers can enable EAC for Linux. Bit dumb that not more do it.
I'm hoping with the Steam Machine getting more popular that we get even more of a shift in the future.
When you say gaming, mostly indie titles and singleplayer?
I'd love to switch over, but a lot of games don't run on Linux (especially multiplayer games with anti-cheat). Yes, it's mostly on the developers, but it's annoying as hell.
I recently rewatched all 3 Iron Man movies. Elon's appearance was utterly cringe.
I rushed out the next update (will be available in an hour or so), so by tomorrow when you update the app it should work much better.
Please do, or just near a window :D See my reply below, I did find a bug that could make the GPS fix take longer than it should. So hopefully I can improve this soon.
I had another look, there is actually a bug in the startup code that might delay getting a GPS fix. I'm still working on a larger update, but by the weekend I should be able to push that and the fix out. Sorry for the inconvenience <3
Hey, did you give the app "Precise GPS" permission? On the very first game start it's a bit more picky and needs a good GPS signal (stand near a window if you're indoor). That's due to the tutorial spawning.
After the tutorial it allows you in faster, but you might jump around a little when your GPS signal is poor :)
I've genuinely done this once or twice as it really looked like phishing to me. External email, big red button, hey, you have to finish this training until date xy!

Nah, they did that in the past, then demand suddenly went back to normal. That's why my 64 GB DDR5 RAM was 200€ last year.
They are scared shitless to expand, because if they do and the AI bubble bursts they won't make their money back. So they obviously prefer to constrain the supply, rake in massive profits and just wait it out.
I mean try to get the ball in when every time you outplay an Argentinian player you get an elbow to the back or a foot between your legs.
The Argentinian team played like utter cunts. And then got into a fight when they lost.
For all the novice alchemists out there who can't read my mind, I added tutorials to every game mechanic in the game :)

The game is finally close to a full release!
It's fully free, no ads, no purchases, fully offline. A real world walking game, you collect resources, brew potions and sell them to merchants. With the gold earned you can buy skins, pets and decorate your neighborhood.
Optionally you can download a street map for orientation, it's a one time download and should work all across the world (if I didn't mess up). Let me know if I missed a spot :)

I'm out of ideas on how to fix this, every now and then my Firefox browser gets a random white border around it. Windows 11, no compatibility mode active for the application.
When I maximize and minimize the window it goes away for a while.
One possible hint: This has started to show up after adding a third display (a 4K TV) to my setup. Even if the TV is fully off. But the TV is the only display which has a different resolution scaling active (all other displays are at 100%).
