I feel like humanity has already taken some inadvertent steps to address this point by accidentally spreading the most aggressive, virulent species across the globe as invasives.

I try to plant natives where I live, to help the native wildlife that's currently here. But I have this small sliver of hope that maybe at least the worst of the invasive species will survive what's coming.

I appreciate that these tipping point events also accelerate global warming by putting greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, but I have to think that once humans are gone, there could still ultimately be a significant slowdown? I gotta review the math.

By "feel the fallout", do you mean they won't be able to buy replacement parts when the company goes under/ there will be a ton of maintenance due to poor product quality? Or do you mean the blowback from other liberals/ progressives? If the former, I can't help but agree. If the latter, I guess that's what I'm trying to take issue with/ head-off.

What do you think about folks buying them second-hand? Some friends of ours are fairly liberal and dislike Musk, but they wanted an EV and couldn't afford a new one. So they bought a used Tesla. As a liberal, I think the environment is my top issue... So I just shrugged. We can't fix humanity's bullshit while society is collapsing due to worsening climate disasters. It can be hard to get people to focus on something so esoteric though when people are struggling with more immediate needs, so I get the opposing view that it's lower priority even if I disagree.

Science comes up with some way that someone of similar genetics can be physically connected to them and filter their blood for them and keep them alive while they wait for a transplant. But regardless, I'm not sure what alternative you're left with when the people committing heinous acts take in profits instead of prison sentences. We stopped educating everyone with less money than the average middle class. We bought the ecoflow batteries; we haven't shopped around for panels yet. I was hoping their panels were competitively priced so we could kind of just plug 'n play.
