I'm not a transphobe you bunch of extremist ass plugs. You're choosing to think that because I won't respect bullies regardless of their fucking genders. Fuck yourself and fuck nigh half of lemmy. It was a mistake to think this was a place that treats everyone equally.

So I'm just supposed to let someone get away with being an assfist? I'm not betray any of my values, because I don't respect someone that bullies myself or others, regardless of their fucking gender. Talking about low values, bitch find a mirror.

It's also shitty to be a bully. The golden rule works both ways. Fucking fucking apologists. Ya'll act like someone should apologize or be punished for not calling Trump "Mister president". Bunch of broken hypocrites. Lemmy was a mistake.

I've always been dyslexic with lefts and rights, or perhaps their names? Even now I have to catch myself most of the time when I say the wrong one.

I'm a little bad with numbers, that got worse after a head injury, so now I frequently confuse 6s and 8s in addition to the usual 'was it 2493 or 2349?' kinda things. As long as I double check my numbers I can do math right, but if it's just a number sequence, they get a little mixed up.

Mines very mild though, and I've met/seen people that take a solid minute or two to parse it when they're corrected.

I know a "NEET of 8 years" who basically won't try at anything because of this. I kind of feel like its an excuse to be lazy, but I can't say for sure.

That could go either way. I've heard (from family or friends) of people that have it so severely, they can't trust themselves enough to accurately read.

That said, it could also be an easy excuse to avoid trying, but ultimately without consulting or being diagnosed by an expert, you only have their word to go on as to the severity.

Hmm. Maybe I should go to feddit. I was considering a couple others, but they banned me for some broad shit when I said I wouldn't respect the pronouns of a bully. Cause apparently bullies deserve respect too. 🙄

That's definitely true. I got some once that had very little holding the arm screws in, and the screws got lost or the joint broke easily or what have you. Then I decided to specifically search for ones with a broader joint and these just don't break unless I fall on them or something.

Sometimes a lens pops out and I can't put it back in because they're half-frames, but there's a local shop that fixes that for free (though I try to tip cause it does take time from paying customers).

Oh man, bifocals?? My condolences, I've never tried those and I know they'd be like a fish-eye lens if I put them on. Still though, you're right about anything better than nothing and I'm really glad she didn't hurt anybody and could use them, good job!

I haven't seen the video but I read the interview (equally gross), and it's kinda like that. I don't remember it hitting the floor but he admitted that it got a little crooked when it was going in, which was one of the main contributing factors.

Apparently he had done it before (and continues to do so) with no issue because he filled them with water first, so the density counteracted the tension.

Also he was like 50ish when it happened.

I get mine from zenni, they have pretty decent prices. I got prescription formal, informal, and sunglasses all for less than $200. I know that's still quite a bit but if you consider the math, that made 1 pair like $60.

Also, I know not everyone has extra money laying around, but I physically cringed (no offense) at 'donated glasses'. Every time I've even tried another person's glasses, the prescription difference made my head hurt within 60 seconds, so it just seems odd to me.

Either way, you helped someone out, and thus random internet stranger is proud of you!

I got 2 comments removed and a 1-day ban from lemmy@lemmy.ml (of course it's .ml 🙄) for violating 'rule 2', which doesn't exist, at least not in the sidebar.

I'm willing to consider that 'rule 2' is about discussing .ml, but the second comment was a definition. nutomic@lemmy.ml got his fefes hurt by a dictionary.

    Thread in question: https://lemmy.zip/post/62996430

Edit: fucking lol I didn't expect everyone here to be a fucking hypocrite. As I've been told, Rule 2 on .ml is be respectful. Was OP being respectful when they insulted LW? Bunch of backpedalling ignants.

Edit 2: I've now been banned for 'trolling and genocide apologia,' from several dbzer0 communities. First off, wow, what part of me is trolling? Just cause you don't agree with me doesn't make me a troll. Second, at what point did I ever claim genocide is okay? Ironic that YPTB is run by PTBs.

When on Voyager I'm unable to create new posts/comments, nor can I see my own inbox/profile history. At first I thought I caught a ban, because I can do all of these things on a separate instance account (made at .world for testing) through Voyager. However, after more testing, I'm able to post/comment through Firefox on the original account, so it's not an 'access revoked' issue. Anyone else having this problem? This is the original account, for reference.

I keep seeing ZippyBot post articles in incorrect communities just because a website is named poorly. Most recent example is a post in 'gaming' that's about a TV series, and not even about a game adaptation, but about t-shirts.

I went to go and block ZippySlop and wouldn't you know it? You can't ban 'admins.' ZippySlop posts to a wide array of communities that I do otherwise like, and the only other option besides blocking Zippy is to block all of those respective communities.

As that would be time consuming and detrimental to engagement of topics, why can't I block ZippyBot. Before anyone sneers 'cuz itz a admin bruh,' Why is a bot even an admin anyway?!

    Obviously all theoretical. Unless...

The following assumes that they're tiny humanoids with wings and no magic spells/powers.

What would you say the size range is for our tiny winged beings? I often imagine incredibly small, like AA battery size. Then my brain makes like a runaway train, thinking about things like logistics and plausibility (I know they're fictional magic beings but that's the runaway train part).

Once I get into that mode, I start imagining them bigger, to an extent. As big as a futbol, usually. All the various children's stories have them anywhere from palm-sized to as small as bugs.

I guess for imagery sake, imagine you had a roommate that was one, so you have to take their size into account for things like cooking and cleaning. What chores would be exclusive to each person based on size? Would they be able to lift/carry human-size objects?
